Blade Tech Whetstone Polish and Super Polish Dual Grit Knife Sharpener
The Blade Tech Whetstone 2000 & 5000 Grit is an excellent quality stone offering two different sharpening surfaces.
The 2000 grit is best suited to polishing blades that are already in fairly good condition. The 5000 grit surface is a super fine grade and is used to apply a superb final cutting edge to the blade with excellent results.
Steel quality plays a large part in how the edge of the blade will perform when being sharpened with this grade. The better the steel quality of the knife blade, the greater the improvement will be when using the 5000 grit.
The stones are best used by submerging them in a bath of water for 5 minutes prior to sharpening. This offers the sharpening surface the best possible lubrication during sharpening.
All of the Blade Tech Whetstones are supplied with a rubberised non slip base for secure and easy sharpening. Sharpening surface 18 x 6 cm.

Helko Dual Grit Axe Sharping Stone
Helko Werk’s Ceramic Axe Stone is a perfect field sharpening stone. Its easy to grip contoured shape, provides for safe, simple tool sharpening.
We used Silicon Carbide Ceramic for our stone as it behaves almost like a diamond. It is not only the lightest, but also the hardest ceramic material available.
The stones Dual-Grit design provides both coarse (120 grit) and fine (320 grit) sides. The coarse side is very aggressive and is used for bringing dull edges back to sharpness. The fine side is used to restore edges that are slightly dull, and for refining the edge left by the coarse side.

Helko Natural Axe Sharpening Stone
Before man-made composite grinding stones, naturally occurring “Made by Nature” stone was used to hone and sharpen metal tools and weapons.
Overtime some stones where known to have better sharpening qualities than others and became prized items. Many of these prized stone sources have long been forgotten, however, we have carefully sourced our natural axe sharpening stone from a small historic quarry in the nordic country of Finland.
