The original Petromax Dutch Oven is ideally suited to cooking and baking in the open air or in the oven at home. Cast-iron pots exist since the 18th century. Even at that time the unique properties of cast iron were appreciated. With the Dutch oven, Petromax takes up this tradition and also provides the Dutch oven with a multitude of refined details.
Cast iron Petromax quality
Thanks to the amazing characteristics of cast iron and the special structure of the surface, warmth is efficiently stored and distributed. The pre-treated surface (seasoned finish) makes a first seasoning unnecessary, and the sturdy Dutch Oven can be used right away. In the open air, it is used on an open fire or with charcoal and briquettes. The raised edge of the lid makes it possible to place embers or charcoal also on the Dutch Oven. The Dutch Oven is thus heated from all sides and is for example suitable for baking bread.
The Petromax Dutch Ovens are ideal companions for outdoor activities such as travel, camping etc. Perfect for cooking over an open fire and in the home kitchen, they allow cooking food such as vegetables and meat very gently in its own juice. They feature a specially designed lid that can be used as a skillet or a platter. The Petromax Dutch Ovens are made of durable cast-iron and have a pre-seasoned finish ready for immediate use. With the Petromax Dutch Ovens one can prepare delicious and healthy food for family friends.

Unlike gravity camp showers that need to be hung overhead and produce dismal water pressure, the award-winning Helioâ„¢ portable pressurized shower and sprayer rests on the ground and provides the pressure you need to wash hair, do the dishes, rinse off gear, water your plants, or wash the dog.
You can quickly and easily pressurize the 2.9-gallon tank with a foot pump – and with occasional pumps you can keep it fully pressurized for 5-7 minutes of strong, continuous spray. The tank cannot be over-inflated. Set the black tank in the sun to warm up gradually, or fill it directly with hot water for a warm shower.
Refill Helioâ„¢ anywhere, even without a hose. The 7-foot neoprene hose is long enough to hold it overhead for a shower, or to reach all angles of dirty gear, muddy paws, or salty wetsuits. Pair with Heliopolisâ„¢ privacy shelter, which has a fitted nozzle holder for hands-free overhead showering, for the ultimate home-away-from-home shower in the backcountry.

With the Petromax Fire Anchor, you will turn your campfire into a practical and versatile cooking area – grill function included – without even thinking. The Fire Anchor made of coated steel can be easily anchored into the ground next to your campfire, the Atago or the Fire Bowl, and it offers diverse options for cooking outdoors. You can prepare delicious meals with the Dutch oven (up to size ft6 included), boil water in the Teakettle for some hot tea or grill vegetable skewers, sausages, etc. on the practical grilling grate.
The arms make it possible
The Fire Anchor is delivered to you with a central pole, three flexible arms and a grilling grate. The grilling grate with a raised edge is to be attached to one of the arms. You can also hang barbecue gloves or the BBQ and Coal Tongs from the extra notch. Each of the other two arms has three notches from which varied cooking utensils can be hung. The arms can be placed separately on the central pole at your desired direction and height.
Stable on solid ground
Before using the Fire Anchor, you must always check that the ground is solid enough for fixing the Fire Anchor in it, so that it is stable and secure. Moreover, you should always make sure that the weight is balanced when cooking with heavy Dutch ovens to ensure that the cooking area is steady.
